With Mirefoot cottages being located close to Kendal, Windermere and Ambleside, there is always a great choice of events going on for our guests to explore and enjoy. This year there is lots to choose from for Bonfire night, so we thought we would share some places that will bring a spark and flash to your stay.
Saturday 28th October
Get ready for a scare-tacular night, as The Station Inn at Oxenholme combines Halloween and Bonfire night for an evening of fun. Starting at 5pm there will be a DJ, BBQ, fireworks display and bonfire. See the page below for more details and tickets:
Friday 3rd November
Enjoy a family fun firework display at Kendal Rugby Club, with food, stalls and a bar all available. Tickets are just £2 each and it is sure to be a great display with the display starting at 7.30pm. Grab yourself a ticket using the link below:

Hayes Garden Centre are also having an evening of Fireworks and shopping, with the chance to enjoy their display before grabbing some Christmas (Is it too early to mention this yet??) goodies with the opportunity of some late night shopping. Saturday 4th November
Windermere Rugby Club is the place to be on Saturday 4th November. Starting at 5.30pm there will be a selection of Live bands to get you in the mood for a rocking evening before the Fireworks light up the sky. With street food on offer and a bar on site you can spend a full evening there. Check out the Windermere RUFC Facebook page for more details.
Or you may just choose to have your own mini personal bonfire in one of our cottages log burners, which will be just as lovely too!
